Model 265VP, Two C- 1000 Housing, Vacuum Pump System

Vacuum pump oil filtration is inexpensive compared to the cost of repairing or replacing a vacuum pump. Additionally, vacuum pump oil has no additives. You do not have to add additive packages to your vacuum pump oil after filtering. Additives will reduce the performance of the vacuum pump by raising vapor pressures and absorbing moisture. Using the proper fluid and filtering that fluid on a regular basis will provide you the lowest possible pressure with a minimal amount of repair. Additionally, during the pump down process, contaminants will enter the air chamber, mix with air and cause the oil to oxidize and form sludge.

If you are not utilizing dedicated filtration on your vacuum pumps you may be experiencing the following problems:
  • Dropping vacuum pump efficiency
  • Sludge build-up in your vacuum pump oil
  • Improper oil in your vacuum pump
  • Decreased vapor pressure
  • Excess moisture
  • Pump failure
Solution:
  • Particulate contamination does not mean that the vacuum pump oil must be disposed of and replaced. Through multi-pass filtration, the particulate can be removed from the vacuum pump oil and thus the life of the oil and the vacuum pump can be increased. Both fine and gross contamination can be removed through the use of multi-pass filtration. ThisFiltration will reduce sludge build-up, impurity contamination and increase the vacuum pump’s efficiency.
